Shopping with Virginia & Moxie Fab Challenge

No I didn't really go shopping with Virginia. :(  But it would be nice. :)  I was reading her blog, Yes, Virginia the other day and she was Guest Blogger for Do More With Less, and she shared something fun and inspirational.  Want to know what I am talking about, check it out HERE.  Friday is the last day!

And there's another fun challenge - The Postal Challenge over at Moxie Fab World I am entering my card.

This is the Inspiration photo I used:

I love that Black, White and Kraft colour combination.   And here's my card:

Except the daisy flower, all stamps are from the Hero Arts Carte Postale (CL535) set.
Au revoir!

PPC#66

Hello there, a quick post.  I made a little card for the current Playing in Paradise challenge, theme is Graduation/Encouragement.  I thought the Hero Arts Balloon Ride stamp really fits my sentiment.  Don't you think?

I stamped Balloon Ride with Tuxedo Black on white card stock, colour with Prisma Color pencils, then sponged some Broken China on top of card (after masked the coloured balloons).  Trim and adhere to green card base.  The banner is computer generated, cut out, mount on green card stock then trimmed and adhered as shown.

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of the day.

Interactive Balloon

It's Friday yay!!  Made a card for a special someone who's birthday is tomorrow.  Shhh.. would you keep it a secret, it's a surprise for him.  Here's my card:

If you pull the banner tag, the balloon flips open to the left and a message is revealed.  I am entering it to the Hero Arts' May Challenge, the theme is: Birthday and colour challenge, and technique:  interactive card.

What do you think?  Do you want to see it in action?  Check the video clip.

All stamps are from Hero Arts (CG448 Balloon Ride, AC001 Untitled Postmark).

Wishing you a great weekend.

Mother's Day Cards

Mother's Day is only a few days away, are you busy preparing for celebrations and family gatherings in the weekend?  I've made a couple of cards for my mother and mother-in-law, they are inspired by this lovely photo for the Playing Paradise Challenge #65:
My cards:

The butterfly in the middle of the card is attached with a DIY wobbler.  So it flutters whenever you move the card.  So I am also entering these to the Hero Arts May Challenge (technique: interactive card).

Supplies:

Stamps are all from Hero Arts.
Flower center from CL290 Printed Flowers.
Leaves from CL477 Delicated Leaf Clusters.
Butterflies from CG120 Antique Writing.
The Chinese greeting is computer generated.
The tag die is Hero Arts D1006 Small Tag Frame.

Thanks for stopping by.
