Spring Blossom

Hi, so glad you came back to visit! :)

You know, nothing speaks Spring to me more than the delicate pink blossoms, may it be the Plum, the Cheries, the Apple... etc.  I saw two very lovely inspiration photos of two seperate challenges, the first one from Moxie Fab World - Tuesday Trigger: Pretty Little Petits Fours;

and this second one from Playing in Paradise Challenge 114: Springtime Joy;

And I know I want to play along, and pink is the colour choice.  And I want to make something special for Mother's Day..okay enough talking already....

I used a Chinese Takeout Box template found on the web, printed on white card stock, cut out and stamped the leaves from SSS Flower ans Friend stamp set with Range Distress ink (Old Paper).  Punch hold on sides, assemble box, thread ribbon thru and tied knot inside.  The flowers were die cut using Hero Arts Frame Cut (DI002), inked with ColorBox (Lilac) and Studio G (looks purple pink, the name is not on the label).  The flower center is from the Hero Arts Printed Flowers set (CL290), stamp with Hero Art (Wet Cement).

And I am going to enter this to the Die Cut Diva's May Challenge - Stamp anything but a card.

Thanks for stopping by.  I wish you a happy, sunny Spring day!!
