Yes Dear

Good morning my crafty friends:

Have you ever heard this one?

One day an elderly couple was celebrating their milestone wedding anniversary, a young man said to the older gentleman:  "Congratulations sir!  May I ask you the secret of a long lasting marriage?".  The older gentleman replied: "Son it's really simple, just remember these two words, Yes Dear!".   Hehehe .. I hope I told it right!?

So onto today's card. I used some new supplies: a new feather die set (Impression Obession), a honey comb stencil (Memory Box), and a new distress ink (Ranger: Crushed Olive).  And I am playing for:

Simon Says Wedding or Anniversary

MFW - Happy for Hexagons Challenge

Die Cut Diva's February Challenge Girl Night Out, option 3 Use the color Pink

Other supplies:
Range Distress Ink (Broken China, Peeled Paint, Wild Honey)
Penny Blank (Sentimental)
Petaloo Premier (Wild Rose)

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!!

Even though Valentine's Day has passed, don't put away your red ink yet!  Keep it out and play for Festive Friday challenge #25.  This is the inspiration photo:

I love the red and white colour combo, so I used my newest poinsettia stamp from Impression Obsession and made a couple cards to play along.

Embossing folders:
first card: Darice (Notebook Paper)
second card: Cuttlebug (Textile)

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!!

No card to share, just a photo of some heart shape Chocolate Brownie I made for my DH and boys.

It's the first time I used the pink chocolate for decoration, so this is like my practise run!!

Hot Pink and Gold

Welcome back.

I admire Donna Mikasa's CAS style, and she is the January Muse of CASE Study.  I want to play along since a few weeks but never got to it.  But I made a card and I know I am very close to the deadline.  This is the inspiration photo of the current challenge, isn't it stunning?

Here's my take:

I will enter it to the CASE Study Challenge#176,  CAS-ual Fridays's CFC#127 - Over The Edge challenge, and the Die Cut Diva`s challenge - Girls Night Out (option 3, use Pink).

Here's a close up from the side, you could see better the gold embossing and the sequins.

Supplies:
Hero Art Fancy Die (Butterfly)
Technique Tuesday (Awesome)
Topboss Clear embossing ink
gold embossing powder
gold sequins
white and hot pink card stock

Thanks for stopping by.
